World Class Pro-Golf

Worl Class Pro-golf

One of Costa Rica's premier ocean side golf courses.
La Iguana Championship Golf Course was designed by world-known golf architect Ted Robinson. The result is the first eco-golf course that plays into spectacular tropical rain forests and back to the blue waters of Herradura Bay. This incredibly beautiful Par-72, 6,696-yard golf course will challenge the best golfers. The views, tropical flowers and wildlife combine to make the La Iguana Golf Course one of the unique golf experiences of a lifetime.

Over 150 birds, 150 trees, and 100 animals have been identified living in the heavily vegetated area surrounding the golf course. A variety of native monkeys, toucans, iguanas and pizotes can often be seen on various holes around the course.

At this "naturally challenging" course, the typical caddie has been replaced with Worl Class Pro-golfa "Golf Guide" who has had months of extensive training including daily classes with a local biologist. They are local Costa Ricans who are fluent in both English and Spanish and as knowledgeable about the game of golf as they are of the natural wonders that surround them.

Located in a 1,000 acre rainforest, amenities include, Full-time staff, pro shop, snack bar and practice facilities & driving range.
